Are the fragrances in your products natural and safe?

The scent in all of Farmakey's products are 100% natural. We are very particular on how we achieve our scents and won't sacrifice the quality of the product and how it will interact with your skin, just to achieve a stronger scent.

I have really sensitive skin (psoriasis, eczema, etc), can I use your products?

Yes! Our founders both had unique skin issues which led them to the creation of the products we now sell today; in fact, many people have found relief with Farmakey products for an array of sensitive skin issues.

That being said, everybody is different. Doing a patch test on hidden skin is always recommended.

What jar is right for me?

While Soother, Nourish, and Manuka are all incredibly versatile and helpful for a large array of skin types, each product has been made to cater for slightly different purposes due to their individual ingredient profiles. 

Soother has excellent qualities to help provide relief for people with sensitive skin issues such as eczema or psoriasis. It was also designed to provide optimal support for those with wrinkles, sunspots, age spots and splotches. We love using this product in the morning due to its' fresh scent.

Nourish is our night-time balm as it's great for encouraging new cell growth, helping calm inflammation, while supporting collagen production and skin elasticity. We love to put this balm on any new cuts and scars to try support our skin with the nutrients it requires. 

Manuka is amazing as an all-round body moisturiser due to its texture and ability to assist with reducing irritation. Skin barrier repair and protection are prevalent features of Manuka's ingredients which is why people suffering with acne may love this product. 

How long will a jar last me?

As our tallow moisturisers are so versatile, we find the time range that customers use their jars to vary widely. If only using a little on your face twice a day, a 60ml jar may well last you a few months, whereas a person with various skin conditions over their body may find their skin to be more demanding. 

On all packaging there is an open jar icon which will show you the shelf life of the product once opened.

 If my moisturiser slightly hardens or softens, is it okay?

Because we use 100% natural ingredients with no added nasties or preservatives, our products may slightly change in consistency as the tallow reacts to the environment. It is completely safe to use and will still melt and apply easily if the moisturiser hardens.

Are the packaging materials used for Nourish, Soother and Manuka eco-friendly? 

Yes, we are committed to sustainability. Our packaging materials are carefully selected to minimize environmental impact. We prioritize using recyclable and eco-friendly materials to align with our values. Whilst we dont claim to be perfect, we will continue to work towards a more sustainable, regenerative future within Farmakey.
